Hi,

I always noticed that the 500 S has the dashboard centre panels in silver instead of the colour of the car. So I bought those on eBay and installed on my Pingado. The result is below.

Some people may think that it's undoing the original style of the car, or that it will make it harder to sell. But I think it's a good addition to mine, along with the keys I already replaced (photos here https://www.fiatforum.com/500/441028-key-case-replacement.html). I'm keeping the original silver for a while until I decide if that's not coming back, or if I want to go to the effort of changing the 500 logo, which is red on the original silver and silver on the beige :). Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures before the change, but you can check how it looks on the original on dealer cars like this http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201707147375289.

It's certainly a big improvement over standard. (y)

I'm not a big fan of the painted silver either. Worse, since it's not clear coated it tends to blemish easily.

Your looks really good.

Agree that the body coloured dash looks better - I always felt it was a key "retro" feature of the 500.
