ive only had it a week, but its suddenly stopped recognizing the fact that i plugged my iphone 7 in and wont play the music anymore. The ipod/phone still charges through the USB. when you scroll through the source menu it just comes up 'aux' where it used to come up blue and me media player. can anyone help ?

Were you using the same USB cord to connect each time? Have you tried another one?

Hi , thanks for reponding, yes I used the same cable i bought it new so i do not have to take the one from home every time, i have as suggested tried another cable and this does not work either. I have spoke to the dealership and they have said there is nothing wrong with the system it must be my phone. There is nothing wrong with the phone I have only had this a couple of months. There is blue & me update on the fiat accessories website i am thinking of giving this a go, it looks like a lot of messing around though and i am not sure if the site is legit any other ideas? cheers Paula.

hi thanks for replying, not sure where the battery is ? do you mean the car battery on the one in the key fob?

Paula, Swifty was referring to the 12V car battery under the bonnet. Without knowing which engine yours has, it's difficult to specify its exact location, but it's usually easily identified, with two large electrical terminals with connectors and large cables attached. The handbook may help. The negative connector has a red button on one side. If you press this in, you can pull the connector up and off and lay it to one side. Leave it off for 10-15 minutes to reset the system, then push it back on again, while holding the button in. Make sure it's pushed down firmly and release the button. Your clock will need resetting after doing this.
