Hi folks,
If you're wondering why I'm removing side skirts on my Sport I will tell you I am disabled and need to get to the driver's seat as close as possible and the extra inch and a half or whatever it is will make my life that much easier.
So now that you know, I have already removed the skirts on both side but I'm left with these white plastic standoffs that I don't know how to pull out or in other words get rid of. I took some pictures to show you what I'm talking about...





Does anyone know the easiest way to remove these things without damaging the car?

If you look up into those holes are they screwed in, can you tell?

This might be something typecastboy you've seen?

I'm afraid I haven't taken off or put on any side skirts. They look like they might be screwed on. Can you shine a torch up into the hole while looking up into it?

Bet they're rivited, are you going to have the side re sprayed after filling in the holes? If so let them sort the plastic mounts. The holes will need to be "covered filled" as they will let water into the chassis?

I will have a look again. Maybe they are screwed in though they do rotate/move a bit. Reaching that far down with my disability isn't easy. As for holes I'll use a long waterproof strip sticker on the sides. The bottom ones I will design and 3D print something to fill those holes once I remove the standoffs. I'll keep you posted.
