the state that some things are repaired from (mainly newer vehicles) is worrying at times.

:yeahthat:

I've seen a lot of dubiously repaired salvage in my time. Some of it even finds its way onto this forum.

Some of the forum oldies may remember this thread.

For those who haven't seen it, it's an interesting lockdown read.

So it's finally fixed yep the paint match isn't great 're the wings but I decided not have them blended as it would have cost an extra £150 given were on a budget it was a compromise we'd accept on the plus side the £50 new pattern part bumper seems ok.

just wanted to say, i envy your car color!!! is it grigio perbene?

fiat is stupid not to sell them anymore with that color...

the only thing, i would paint le calotte too (the back of the mirrors)

this is the one i am getting in march, your grey is definitely more cheerful

EDIT:
if i wasn't living in rome...
i would have seriously considered buying a used car of that color...
but in rome average roads/drivers are bad, buy a used car is risky

Thank you the car is silver( argento ) not grey, we've been to Rome, yes the state of the roads is terrible and the cars have so many dents and scratches!

Indeed it's silver and it shines under the sun!
but (I think) the official colour name is "grigio perbene metallizzato" (in Italy)
Anyone correct me if I am wrong, I am just really interested in the color name

At least it says so here
