Technical 500 big foot modification.

Having long legs and big (size11) feet I always found space a bit tight in the footwell of our 500. This simple mod gives a little more space around the clutch foot rest and makes a big difference.

i am interested in this. I am about to buy one soon and on a test drive I did notice that the no much space for my left foot to rest.
What exactly did you do?

I just chopped out the toe end of the footrest using a Fiem multitool. Plastic is soft so you could do it with a hacksaw or even a knife. There isn't a lot of space, behind it is the housing for the aircon pollen filter, but you gain at least 30mm.
