Do you know how to change the settings for sound please? I'm not sure, but also scared I much it up and end up with all music at one side of the car and not at the other

If its a normal older style radio, on the right of the radio station preset buttons there's a button with AUD(io) press it use the up/down and left right keys on the right to vary the settings, up/down I think are Bass Treble Fader Balance Loudness(turn this on) and preset Eq

If you press the central right button whilst normal radio say you get other options like line in volume and volume vs speed setting(turns it up when going faster) traffic prompt etc.

Okay, so listened to mine, and mine appear to be in perfect order, can hear good high/mid through them.

You might want to adjust the balance maybe, follow the instructions given in the thread to see. If you're careful and just read what's on screen, and press when you know what the button does, you'll be fine, you can't mess it up awfully!

My recommendation would be to have EQ set OFF , Bass and Treble set at +1 and Loudness set to ON. If it still doesn't sound clear you might have something wrong.

Thank you. Have set my settings to the above.

Sorry, totally off topic but really don't want to stRt another post. Close to tears this morning after noticing a mark last night and thinking I'd wash it off today. Turns out it's scratches as in picture. Anybody any idea AT all How I could remove this? Bare in mind I have matt paint so can't polish or wax. Any help would be appreciated.

Also if anybody has ideas on how I could've did this. I wash with a sponge but also wipe off bird mess with some spray for bugs and bird poo, with a microfibres cloth. I obviously want to avoid doing it again. I'm so gutted and close to tears.

Let us know how the speaker pans out.

I can't see the picture attached, so can't see how big/where they are. How deep are the scratches? It may be touchup-able? Regrettably these things happen with cars, and it always seems to be one thing after another.

That's gutting, I know the feeling. I brought a brand new set of chrome polished wheels, and managed to scratch them when cleaning them within a few weeks. :(

Can't get it to attach ? Will keep trying. I'm wondering if it could've been a bird standing on it maybe, I'm not sure. It's not deep into the paint. But very noticeable in the sunshine and quite a lot. So angry at myself if it's something I've done wrong

Unfortunately I think Matt paid is very difficult to keep pristine. It sounds like you are doing the right thinks looking after it, not like a dealer when I went to look at his Matt black to find it covered in scratches and nicely polished. You could always look for a local dent remover and see what they say.

It's the biggest pain I've ever had getting a car with matt finish. I have numerous marks at the sides from where other drivers have opened their car doors and hit the side of mine. A wee tap and it marks ? My dealer told me not to use polish, wax or any shampoo with them in. I gave it a wash last night and put my Chemical Guys Jet Seal for matt cars on and its disguised the mark slightly.

Nobody get a matt car unless they want visible marks all over.

You might find this interesting.

Certainly it's something you need to go into with your eyes open, and accept that, once the finish is damaged, it's going to need an expensive professional repair. It's probably too demanding a finish to be a realistic proposition on a daily driver.

Perhaps an asset to a careful, meticulous first owner in the first year or two, but definitely a liability on a secondhand car. Restoration of even minor paint defects is difficult or impossible and, if cleaned incorrectly even once, the finish will be irreparably spoilt.

A decent pressure washer is probably an essential if you want a realistic chance of keeping such a finish in showroom condition. It's worth buying a good brand because you'll likely be using it a lot.

We've drifted a long way from the original topic.

Thank you.

Regarding original topic, I still can't tell any difference but my partner listened and he says you can hear the difference in tweeters so that's all good.

Car doesn't look too bad scratches unless your right up at it. I've ordered some more products for matt paint to try keep it in as good condition as poss.

One query that's just came into my head tonight when fixing the aim of washer nozzles because they were spraying too high and over my car, is will windscreen wash fluid damage paint when it does go on car paint? Google has zero answer.
