My daughter's cars battery died after not using for a couple of weeks, tried to recharge but completely knackered, fair enough 2013 car with original battery, replaced battery with new all good, alternator charging at 14v ?. 10 days later dead again ?, luckily managed to recharge battery, refitted and checked for a drain, when multi meter settled down it was showing 0.5amp discharge, checked for boot light going out as previously mentioned in this thread, all good, only thing I could find was the headlight switch on the stalk was in the on position, shouldn't be a problem as all the lights are extinguished when ignition key is removed, checked car definitely no lights on but when I turned switch off the multimeter dropped to 0.04amp,car has been fine ever since.
