The Abarth spoiler, bargain, £47, was going to have in repainted cha cha azure blue, but think it looks good black. Big thank you to Typecastboy for all his help and advice.[emoji106]

We have a Renault Clio Initiale that we've had since brand new in 2001. It has a full leather interior and some woodwork too.

However, I'm not convinced about leather seats and I wouldn't want a car with leather seats again.

In the cold weather, they are freezing cold when you sit down, and in the hot weather, they get boiling hot.

Our Fiat500TA has nice red cloth seats. They are warm in the winter, and not over hot in the summer.

Just my two pennorth worth.
Mick.

Do you ever not have an opinion on something? Have you ever heard of heated seats or air conditioning? As of last weekend I own a 2013 BMW 3 series estate and it has heated leather seats and rather decent air con, you can even ventilate it remotely via an app on your phone on a warm day. The air con is rather chilly and the seats will happily roast your back.

No heated seats, but full air con.

Getting into the car on a cold morning is very chilly on the bum and the back.
Getting in after the car has been in the sun will roast your bum and back no bother.

Never have the problem with fabric seats.
Leather is reminiscent of the plastic seats we used to have in the old days.

Yes, I do have opinions .............. just like you have.

Best wishes,
Mick.

Seconded, heated seats for the win, especially in those winter months.

Given that leather is natural and a fairly good conductor of heat (the reason it gets so cold in the winter) I've always found proper leather seats to be nice and comfy in the summer as they quickly match the temperature of your skin. Having air con makes them a bit cooler still so in the summer, they're much nicer that man made fibre fabrics used in normal car seats.

The only down side is cold steering wheels in the winter...... they do heated steering wheels as well, just not on fiat's

I'm thinking about retrofitting a heated wheel to my 3 series. Thankfully BMW make that sort of thing rather easy.
