Hi
New to the forum today so forgive me if I'm covering old ground. I have just aquired a 2011 fiat 500 lounge twin air. My multifunction display sometimes displays paused for a short while and then goes back to normal I went out today for a 2 hour drive and it displayed paused for the whole journey after about 10 minutes of driving . Help anyone?

This happens if you press the mute button on the steering wheel apparently. Press it again and it should go back to normal.

Thank you for that but I tried that and it doesn't work

Welcome to the forum! :)

We have a 2011 Lounge TA too.
Sometimes, the display isn't right, and sometimes other things go a little wrong too. Nothing that stops the car, just is weird.

I often tell people that our 500TA is a computer with wheels and an engine.
What do you do when the computer goes a little strange?
Unplug it, wait a few seconds, and power it up again. This sorts out many problems!

So, disconnect the battery for a few minutes - maybe go for a cuppa - then reconnect. You'll have to set the date and time again afterwards.

The battery disconnects easily without any tools or know-how.
There's an earth lead which goes across the top of the battery and it's held on by a button on the terminal post. Press it, and lift off the connector. Replacing, just push it back on.

Hopefully, fingers crossed, it may sort out your issue.
If it were mine, that's the first thing I'd do.

Good luck,
Mick.
