I've had a water noise at start up and switch off that's new, clearly low water/air in the system , so have topped it up and ordered a new thermostat (a probable cause cracked and leaking) well I didn't look first, the thermostat has already been replaced with a metal body one, so where has the water gone?
My fault for not looking first, so where is the second most common cause of water loss, the radiator looks fine there's no leaks round the stat no obvious patches on the floor, there was one drop of water on the gear box casing underneath could have been because it had been raining? I've not really looked yet just out for ideas? Any input welcome.
