How are you finding the gear changes without the reverse gate?

Yeah its ok, you sort have to guess where 5th is, but so far its ok.

Only commenting on this as it's about the gears. Mine struggles to get into 2nd gear, very often I have to go back into neutral &I try again. It's worse when cars and engines cold but still quite common when warmed up. Is this common issue?

What size bolt holds the gear knob on ? I'm looking at converting my Fiat Idea to take the 500 Gear knobs so would need to tap and drill the bolt hole.

NVM found the answer, it's an M6 x 20mm.
