Hey everyone,

I went to custom order a 1.4 dualogic lounge with a leather pack ect but was rejected by FCA because Fiat Australia will no longer be importing anymore 1.4 engine lounges to Australia. So I goto source a car from interstate if I want that particular car and engine size.
The 1.2 Pop doesn't have the features I want.

So I ask the forum.
With the 1.4 engine now going.
What's next for 500s in Australia?
Will the series 4 500 S/sport return this time with the Twin Air?
Will the Twin Air return?
Or will Fiat 500 just sell Pop's only because they sell and are affordable.

So confused what to do now.

Far as I can tell the new Abarth 595 effectively replaces the Sport in Oz. Local dealer told me there are no more 1.4 engines coming in the 500 and he's bought up all the 1.4's he can find. He's got a couple of new Series 3 Sports for $20k and if I was in the market for a new 500 I'd grab one - I don't like the chintzy Series 4 styling.

As for the Twinair, I think we can forget it. I'd love to be proved wrong on all counts of course.

I'd love the series 4 S/Sport to come here. It's a great car. But really unsure If we will get it. Fiat Australia are really pushing the 500X as Australia turns away from the micro car segment that was popular in 2006 - 2009. So I'm unsure what's going on next with the future 500s so I may as well find the right car for me soonish.
