Hello, I'm very new to this forum so apologise if this question has already been asked. I have searched the forum but couldn't find the answer.
I have a 2011 fiat 500 twinair with 36k miles on the clock. The stop/start is no longer working so I thought I'll have a look around the clutch pedal. I can see that there is some sort of sensor switch which is attached by the side of the clutch pedal. There appears to be another mechanism connected to the switch and I think this should be connected to the clutch pedal. However this mechanism is loose and is not fixed to the clutch pedal at all. It moves around freely and does not operate the switch when the pedal is pressed or released.
My questions are, is this the reason the start/stop is not working? How can I fix this? And does anyone have any schematic diagrams of the clutch pedal assembly so I can see how it all fits together.
Thank you for reading my post and for any help you may be able to give.
