Friend looking to buy a 1.4 Lounge or Sport - anyone selling one??

Hi all

I've got a friend who's looking to buy a 1.4 Lounge or possibly Sport. Does anyone have one for sale?

You'll be sorry you asked :) here we go......

Must have full leather, FSH, low mileage and be in tip top condition. Cha Cha Blue preferred colour but would consider white (are there two different whites? Bossa Nova and a pearl one?).

I told you you'd be sorry you asked!! Don't shoot the messenger!

Haha! Bit of a wish list then.

Well...I found one via Auto Trader with red leather interior, Cha Cha Blue and 1.4 Sport trim. It's a 59 plate and priced at £5,295.

I have absolutely no idea about the dealer or the car or the location, just that it fits your spec!(y)

Try and get a post 2010 one, as major changes were made at that time to the car.

I have a 2010 auto with red leather and electroclash grey with 78,000 miles on the clock, although its in Greece and there is no way I am selling it, its worth peanuts compared to the purchase price. I would never buy a new car to sell it, the depreciation cost is just ridiculous. Either finance or buy used.

There's a classified section for a reason you know ;)

Stick a request in there, otherwise the moderation team won't be happy (y)

:yeahthat:

It's acceptable to offer or link to relevant goods or services in direct response to a specific question, or even just to bring our attention to an 'interesting' product we might not otherwise be aware of, but where the primary purpose of the thread is to buy or sell something, then it belongs in the classified section.

So, Bellsy, please feel free to post a wanted ad in the classifieds; sellers can then respond to it there. I wish you success in finding a car for your friend - sound 1.4's are getting harder to find now, and IMO are a good choice for someone wanting reasonable performance without the added cost and complexity of turbocharging.

Thread locked.
