Is there a setting in the computer to disable/enable hill assist. Or if not, what's the best way to test whether it works as can't say I have ever noticed it working.
Sorry forgot to mention that my 500 is one of the later series 4 models. The handbook does suggest that it can be enabled or disabled by the EVIC menu, but I can't find the HSA function when I scroll through it. So unsure whether this feature is able to be turned off on the later series 500's.
Funny you should ask that. Our 2014 500 S twinair doesn't seem to have it/or it isn't working. Easy to test by stopping on a hill on the footbrake for a short while. If the car doesn't roll back immediately then it is working.......
