Some of us will already know what a pig of a job it is to change the pollen filter on a right-hand drive 500. The access is very tight indeed, up under the dash and behind the steering column and clutch pedal. Enough to make a saint swear, so it is!
However, if you use a genuine FIAT filter instead of one of the many pattern parts available, the job is very much easier - this is because the FIAT filter is edged in a type of polystyrene foam strip which is completely flexible and enables the filter to be curved without having to cut it. It will bend easily to fit into it's housing and then spring back to shape once installed.
