I have just bought my first Fiat. I love it. 500C 1.2 69hp Pop Cabrio. Manual gearbox.
BUT when moving off in 1st from a standstill it often creeps forward with very little power. On steep upward inclines, in 1st gear, it slows to a stop. I have to restart the engine and do a hill start And only then do I have enough power.

I have read these are known faults due to a software problem. Any ideas, advice, or information?

I'm not sure if the cabriolet version had a facelift. If it helps the model/version/series = 150-573-4-000. Left-hand drive as I am in Greece.

Yes it did though I'm not sure of model numbers above, the reason I ask is maybe although 'brand new' your car is actually an older model as the issues you're having are similar to what early euro 6 cars had, best bring it back to where you bought it and have it investigated and also find out actual build date.
