Hello all i hope this time i post in the correct group :))
I have a question for my new fiat 500 pop dualogic !
When i bought the car, when i entered in tunnels the speedometer light goes on, after few settings done i somehow managed to turn them off and i cannot see the speedometer in dark anymore:( can someone help me please? Thank you!

Check the settings via your touch screen radio (top right button on the radio with a cog symbol). You can dim it all the way down to off.

In your original post, you stated 'my new fiat 500 pop dualogic' hence the assumption you had a touchscreen radio.

Have you tried using the menu button on the RHS of the speedo to access the settings and select the dimming menu?

The dimmer setting is on the menu accessed by the speedo cowling buttons as mentioned above. Note that 'Dimmer' will only appear if the headlights are on!

Also, if pressing the Menu button on the instrument cluster makes a beep and has no other effect, try turning the radio off. I found on our early Dualogic model that the menu does not appear if the instrument cluster is trying to display anything else (such as, door open, the radio frequency, or any other message). Car must be stationary for the full menu, too.

Fair call :) people often seem to refer to their "new car" even when it isn't new (we get that in NZ all the time).

I think the instrument lighting in the 500 only comes on when the headlights are on, but in daylight with the headlights on, the instrument lighting turns off (it has a sensor). They could have easily done it the other way around and had the lighting come on whenever needed! I guess it's so you can tell when your headlights aren't on (the speedo being dark at night).
