Hi Forum,
I've got a 500 1.3 Diesel Multijet 2010. Can you please advise me on what the final tightening on the front hub should be? In the attached photo the pre tightening says it is 7.0daNm +/- 5% +/- 62* +/_ 2* (*=degrees) and the finally tightening 22.0daNm / 40.0 daNm. What does actually mean in proper terms?

wow - that's poor isn't it. :eek:
tightening "high-torque" items like cylinder head bolts.. modern methods are.

a LOW torque figure , then add another 90' ( 1/4 of a turn).etc,


you appear to quote 7Nm and one SIXTH of a Turn.

weird.:shrug:
