Hi, Have a 2010 500CC, the fabric roof (buff colour) has some staining which I would like to clean but mindful I don't want to make it leak. What product do the collective use and is there a proofing (like nikwax) that iI can use to keep it waterproofed. Apologies if been asked before. Cheers , John B

Autoglym do a fabric roof cleaning kit with a specialist cleaner and sponge as well as a water proofing agent for when done. Light coloured roofs will always show the dirt easily but if looked after its fairly easy to keep them clean.

Once treated with the autoglym stuff it water and dirt doesn't get a hold and won't soak in.

I can recommend 303 Convertible Top Cleaning & Car Kit. The set contains of two spray bottles.
First you clean the fabric top for stain & restore the fabric colour by Top Cleaner.
Second you restore fabrics 'lost water and stain repellency' by Fabric Guard.

One week after a treatment:



Normally I repeat this process every spring / autumn.
