Does anyone know if the new model 500 has underseat storage?

There is no option on the new model, but I managed to convert mine it was a bit of a faff but am pleased with the results.

There is a write up in the guides which was very useful.

FYO there is no little storage compartment in the top of the glove box either and the little storage flap to the right of the gear stick moulding had been replaced by a net, quite disappointing

We always found the little storage compartment by the gear stick too small to be of use. Although a net is a bit cheap, it is at least more flexible.

A shame about the little compartment in the glove box, but I suppose the addition of a proper glovebox lid counteracts that a bit. Albeit both would've been nice!

If you are inclined to fit an Armster armrest that has a small storage compartment.

They are actually £20 with free postage. You would need the seat pad that pivots up to allow access though. Not sure if it would work with a fixed seat pad.

The main item you need is the hinge unit that replaces the fixed bar that the seat pad bolts to on the metal seat frame. Sadly they are quite rare and hence expensive.

And I actually threw one away after salvaging a few bits from it.

One of these on eBay next week that I shall be selling with the tray.

I would be, or rather my Son would be for his as it currently doesn't have one.
