Hi guys, not sure if standard 500s get tuned all that much... But can anyone tell me what one would expect to be able to extra out of a 105hp TA?

My boss' other company does tuning, and he thinks this should be the difference:
Power: 105hp up to 110hp
Torque: 145nm up to 190nm

Yeah, the power increase isn't much, but that's a fair amount of extra torque. From experience, is it worth it?

I'm looking at this being the first upgrade, as it is likely the cheapest (for me personally), then going from there, a bit of body detailing, to include the 'Cult' name-tag. Then looking at upgrading engine and drive components.

Go for it, especially if you have connections. A few of us have tuned TA's, one or two remaps and a few more with tuning boxes. I think the TA 105 should tune up to at least 115hp. The TA85 generally goes up to 95-100hp depending on who you believe.

I always thought it was interesting that they dident increase the torque on the 105 over the 85 when they easily could have, perhaps 145 was considered the safe max for the engine and drivetrain, not to say there wouldn't be a bit of headroom to play with but I think I'd be cautious about squeezing to much out of it, don't forget about your warranty and insurance too!
