We are picking up my daughter's brand new 500 today (we are both giddy).

I know we get 12 months' roadside assistance and from Fiat's website it states that if you have the car serviced at Fiat, one receives another 12 months roadside assistance.

Our dealer did not seem to know much about this - has anyone seen this and has it worked out for you?

I own a Volvo and they do the same - just had it serviced and received a document showing I have another 12 months cover.

From the website:

SERVICE ACTIVATED ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

Your Fiat comes with a comprehensive one year’s roadside assistance provided as part of the comprehensive new car offer. You can now extend this cover FREE of charge by simply returning to your dealership for servicing on your car. This cover offers customers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year roadside assistance where an experienced technicians will assist you and get you moving again. This support is also available should you be stranded at your home. At participating dealers only. For more information see the leaflets below.

I'm embarrassed that i had the first service done at my Fiat dealer and paid for breakdown cover
