Hi

Im due my first service in a week or so, im just wondering where are people getting their oil and filter from, my local dealership is terrible for getting parts from.

Thanks
Jim.

I must admit I had my services carried out by the dealer while mine was under warranty. I now use my long-term independent - he provides the filter, I give him 4 litres of oil, then I have a bit left over in case of topping up, which hasn't been needed.
My TA 85 is specced for 5W 40. I've been using Petronus Syntium 3000AV, which is the correct type with the all important C3 rating. Euro Car Parts sell it for about £20. I know that some folks here buy their filters from Shop4parts, but I haven't tried them yet.

I purchase my filters from eurocarparts I tend to go for a brand I know (Bosch) and I like to use Castrol Edge which is available from Amazon for a decent price I paid £34 for 5 Litres, it did have a German label but all of the oil spec is the same for both languages being that they are worldwide standards.

Much better than £40 for 4 litres!

We have an 85TA but I suppose it's the same as the 105TA.
I did an oil and filter change on ours in September last year.

Oil filter came from Shop4Parts - genuine Fiat item for £17.69 - I bought spark plugs at the same time to save on postage.

Oil came from Central Motors just up the road - 5ltrs for £33.50.

Regards,
Mick.
