Speedo now swapped and whilst it comes up the Blue & Me splash screen, I'm not getting any Blue and Me functions / display or options on the speedo now, however Blue and Me is still working in the background?
Any ideas?
Would really appreciate any pointers /tip on the Blue & Me side - i.e. getting Blue and Me talking /communicating with the speedo.

Okay got Blue & Me working last night after updating Blue & Me - all was then working perfectly, was over the moon and all displayed perfectly.
This morning, Blue and Me had reverted back to not displaying on the cluster, and could not access the functions.
Just been through the update process again - and its working again.
Lets see what leaving the car locked does. Any further ideas or thoughts?

Updated the Blue and Me again - was working. Locked the car, left it a few hours and it's stopped again.
Is there a way to "bake" the update in? Does it need a proxy alignment after the Blue and Me update?
Would really welcome any ideas, it's so frustrating!

My analogue speedometer is working erroneously; showing incorrect speed information. So I am planning to upgrade to LCD cluster but I am a total newbie both in forum and to Fiat.
I have read that digital LCD cluster is plug and play but how do I correct the milage and do I need to reprogram certain features? What is MES excatly?
Secondly I have rear parking sensors, is the sensor data displayed on the LCD?

Welcome to the forum!
A few of us have successfully swapped our speedometers for the LCD just need some more info from you
What year 500 do you have? MES is multiecuscan it’s fiat specific software
If you go to the authorised site multiecuscan.net and pay €50 get yourself a set of cables you could correct the mileage via this software by doing a proxy alignment
Or maybe a fellow member if in your local area could do it for you! A dealer would charge you over £100 and seriously it takes 5 mins!!
You can only increase mileage so you would need to find a speedo with lower mileage.
It is indeed plug n play as for parking sensors showing up I’m not sure as mine are OEM aftermarket but maybe someone else could shed light on this.....
Forgot to mention if your car is pre late 2015 look for a speedo with a date up to 2014 as late 2015 models are “facelift “ and will not work correctly if your car is a facelift late 2015 onwards then stay away from anything before late 2015!

You need to find one around the same year so 2016 2017 no point going for any earlier or it may not work properly
As your car is a facelift there will be a lot of updated features that the older speedos just don’t have

I have found a digital speedo of a 2020 model. Will this fit?
I’m not sure in theory it should typecastboy do you think this will work? Make sure the mileage is lower
Yeah I think it should. I don't think a 2020 one would be an issue in another Facelift car (as long as its not a Hybrid doner car).
The only issue from the slightly younger cars, pre facelift is the tyre pressure sensors

I am thinking about doing this, I've read a few threads and I am aware of what I need to do but I I haven't came across a question that I want to know, so I thought I ask here.
If my 500 is a Auto does it mean I need to get a Auto LCD Speedo or would a manual one work too? just worried it won't display the gear on the screen

I would have thought you would need to correct “automatic” speedo I could be wrong so don’t quote me but I just don’t see how a manual speedo would be dual purpose
Unfortunately I don’t see many auto speedos come up for sale as I say I could be wrong someone may know and update this
I will have a look at some of mine. I gave several bits and pieces. They are all off of manual cars but if you hold the black but with the cut outs up to the light you can see all the icons etc so I’ll look and see if they have the auto bit.
Bumping this topic. In the description is writen that the mileage of the new cluster must be lower as you can only change it higher and lower is not possible. Is this a typical cluster issue or will the software not support mileage correction downwards?
