Just a thought, I was wondering where everyone is from on the forum and what you all do for a living?
I'm originally from Wigan in Lancashire.

At the age of 16, I joined the Royal Navy and served for 27years. Meanwhile I married, had two children, moved up and down the UK, and eventually settled in Cornwall 30odd years ago. Still happily married after 42years.

Children grew up and married and moved away, and I'm now retired still in Cornwall. Aged 63.

Does that fill the info section?
:):)

Regards to all,
Mick.

I'm from the Surrey/Hampshire border - between Guildford and Winchester.

I'm a law student, but I'm also volunteering as an adviser for Citizen's Advice, as well as a caseworker at a specialist mental health bureau.

Born in Farnborough Hampshire, transported to the colonies in 1958. Jack of all trades after initial 23 years in the Post Office, from forklift driver to graphic artist, but now retired. Model builder and collector.

Born in Chiswick London, had a stint in Istanbul and now live in Athens, Greece. Studied at Royal Holloway and then came back to Athens, Greece to work in the family business, an international shipping and trading company. 27 now! Come to the UK a few times a year to visit.

Im a self employed in the building trade but specialise in steel fabrication and drain jetting with a bit of refurbishment work on schools and industrial premises thrown in to stop me getting bored.
Born in Birmingham but love living in Tamworth now.
Compete in club level motorsport (production car autotesting) with my 15 year old daughter who can handbrake turn it with the best of them and she will be beating me within a year or 2

Born in mid Wales, moved around quite a bit and now live in rural Shropshire.

Started off building overhead power lines, tough job in tough conditions but sometimes I would literally finish the day with aching stomach muscles from laughing so much (your memory plays tricks on you so you forget about the hypothermia:)

Then an electrical engineer, big stuff mega watts and kilovolts.

Messed about with motor sport for a while and dabbled being an off road driving instructor. Showing half wits how to brake Land Rovers (it's very easy)

Then a Project manager / programme manager.

Still doing that for another 137 days, 10hrs and 20minutes, not that I'm counting:)

Then convert a Sprinter 4x4 into an overland camper which will be our part time home for the next few years. Europe, Africa and maybe South America.

So unfortunately the Fiat's will be going soon:cry:

Neither of these will be a fact for long, as I've quit my job and waiting to start at as a product specialist in steering components - which also means I'll be moving soon!
