This is a strange one, and not an easy thing to explain.
The other day, there was a white 500 coming towards me and the driver flashed his/her lights to let me through a gap. I went through, and we parted company. I didn't make a note of the model or the year of it.
It was only later that I realised what I'd seen.
The white 500 had DLR lights switched off. (or should I say they weren't on)
It was a broad daylight.
When the white 500 flashed to me, it's DLRs flashed and NOT the headlights.
I've since checked our 500 with DLR lights both on and off, and when I flash, it's always the headlights that flash and NOT the DLR lights.
Question:
Did the white 500 have a defect, or is it a normal thing for some of them to do it like I described?
Thanks,
Mick.
