Have an intermittent problem with low brake fluid warning. I have a 1.2 Lounge 2013 17,000miles. April this year they put in an electrical part.(sorry forgotten what?) Then problem occurred again in August this year. Fiat Garage/workshop then put in a new Sensor. Then two weeks ago same problem brake fluid warning and audible warning. Fiat suggest that I let them have my car for four days and they will plug it into their computer to ascertain the problem. Can they be serious???! And they suggest that I open up a case with Fiat. I cannot understand why after changing two electrical parts, and I pointed out comment from Forum Member re rubber on the inside of the cap falling down and interfering with the float etc.as a possible reason for the problem. Any thoughts, please.

sounds good. Give them your car for a few days, and get a courtesy car.

Only contact Fiat UK if you see no solution to this and it is still not fixed after this intervention.

Thanks for your suggestion, Ahmett. However, what I am getting at is as they have fixed the level sensor in April, then put in a new brake fluid sensor (they tell me they ordered and got from Italy) . What else could there to be fixed re this problem. Also Dealership cannot offer me a courtesy car for another month. Plus what I am saying is that there is no guarantee (in fact I guarantee it won't happen) that the problem of brake fluid warning light etc. will happen to come up on my car in the four random days they would have my car as it is intermittent and tends to be a few months apart. Dealership said they would take my car for four days and Mechanic would drive it home each night so that he can check it and plug it into computer to see what the problem is. I do not understand, if it has happened recently, why wouldn't he be able to see it on the computer now? Thank you. Regards Stella
