Hi,
I really want a bit more out of my wife's Fiat 500 twinair 85hp.
been thinking of the TMC tuning box, but that's solid 750aud shipped to Australia. came across Centralina Aggiuntiva for a quarter of the price.

anyone has experience with it?

no review can be found online except all the Italian forum which I cant understand.

Thank you.

I searched the internet for Centralina Aggiuntiva, but I can't find a tuning box for the TwinAir engine. If I select FIAT 500, then I only see tuning boxes for the 75 and 95 hp diesel engines. By the way, the extremely low prices suggest that these are old fashioned analog tuning boxes. Even if such tuning box would be available for the TwinAir engine, I wouldn't consider trying it.

Clearly I didn't search well enough.

Mick, the price is much too low. Look for example here (although for Punto but that shouldn't make a difference): http://centralina-aggiuntiva.eu/pun...punto-evo-09-twinair-turbo-8v-85-cavalli.html

Tuning boxes of highly regarded tuners cost often more than €400. I wouldn't risk damaging my engine with a €60 box.

This BenzPower device tricks pulse signal sensor thus we can affect the air fuel ratio ..........

Says it all, it just tricks the ecu. Probably by providing the wrong temperature info. So it just over fuels. Just a guess but it's not going to alter boost and fuelling as a proper remap or tuning box would.

I know people who've used these types of boxes (in diesel lease cars) and they have worked but I wouldn't use one in my own car.

I wasn't recommending them at all, and I'm sure you are correct.

Personally, I see no reason the improve the performance of our 500TA 85hp. It goes well enough thank you. :)

Cheers,
Mick.
