Hello, first time post, so go easy on me

My other half has lost the battery cover for her key fob, it has been a bit loose since replacing the battery and taking it out in regard to another problem, and now unfortunately we've lost it completely. Would anyone know how to replace just that bit of the key, rather than than the whole key. Our local Fiat dealership says that part isn't available and I don't want to spend £250 on a new key!

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Might be a good idea to look on eBay. Search for 500 key fobs. You shouldn't need to buy a new key from dealer.

Here is a replacement key case on ebay. You could just take off the battery cover and move to your fob as its so cheap. Have seen similar on Amazon if you don't use ebay.
