Technical Rear window demist not working

Hi.

My girlfriend has an 09 1.2 pop and the rear window demister is not working and the light on the dash doesn't come on. The fuse is fine.

I have seen plenty of posts about the 500c and the roof not being closed properly but nothing to do with the standard 1.2 pop.

Has anyone got any ideas?

The 500 is known to suffer from a break in the wiring from the car body to the hatch. Due to the acute angle the wires bent at through the rubber grommet they break over use, her car being 6yrs old now it is likely. Pull this rubber apart and you ought to see the break. I've not had it yet on my car but you can search this forum for plenty of others who have described their issues and repairs.
