General Driver seat cover and foam removal

I need to replace the front drivers seat base cover and foam in my 2014 fiat 500 and wondered if it was easy to do or whether i would need a garage to do it

If you're talking upholstery you need to take it to a motor trimmer and definitely not a mechanic. If you can't find a 'motor' trimmer a boat trimmer should be able to help.

It's probably not too hard to DIY but you might need those special trimmers pliers (forget what they're called).

Can I ask why?

I reckon it could be easier to get a new seat from a breaker's yard.
