Hello,
I have brought a Fiat 500 1.4 sport last week...
I have noticed a few things about it and would like to know if anyone else's 500 does the same things and ask for some advice please :)
1) When I turn my car on the side lights are always on or i can turn my head lights on - where is the option to turn all lights off ?
2) Does anyone else's speedo seem to feel a bit inaccurate ? - I put my foot down to get to around 40mph, for example, then takes a couple of seconds to get there then it jumps over, 40mph - which I think has resulted in my getting a speeding ticket yesterday (yet to receive one!)
3) Is there an option to turn the speedo backlight on during the day time, without having your head lights on? seems a bit too dark for me...
4) I know there is an option to see the range but is there an option to see how many miles your have done per tank (when resetting each time filling up)?
I think that's all for now :)
Thank you for your help in advance !

Hi and welcome to the forum.

1) When you refer to the 'sidelights' I presume you mean the Daytime Running Lights. Press the 'Menu' button on the speedo binnacle and scroll up or down to find "Daytime Lights" and select 'OFF'.

2) Most speedos are inaccurate on the high side, in my case by about 5 kmh, but if it's "jumping' it may need professional attention.

3) In a word - no. It can be difficult to see.

4) If you keep pressing the 'Trip' button on the end of the wiper stalk you'll see the display scroll through several options for trip meter 'A' and 'B', including the distance, consumption and driving time since the last reset. Details are in the manual.

Cheers
