Has anyone fitted a center armrest to their Fiat 500. I have a 500 S and am thinking of fitting one. Any comments or recommendations would be helpful. Thanks

Yep I put in an 'Armster' one - available online, works well, handy for storage, easy to fit, folds away if required. Just be aware it makes putting on your belt a little awkward but you soon get used to it so not an issue, recommended.

Yep, I also have the Armster armrest in my 1.4 Sport. The colour and grain of the armrest leatherette almost exactly matches the leatherette on the Sport seats, which is a major bonus. Cinch to fit, just measure and mark carefully and make sure you drill the right sized pilot holes to get a good tight fit with the 4 self tappers. Makes longer journeys a lot more comfortable whe you can rest your left arm while cruising.

Has anyone fitted the Armster 2 - know its more expensive but looks slighty more substantial?

I fitted one of these about two years ago - wouldn't be without it but there are a couple of issues;

It's attached to the original centre 'console' and covers the rear cupholders (no great loss, I don't carry passengers) but the console isn't too firmly fixed to the floor and makes the armrest a bit wobbly.

The plastic catch on the lid broke early on. It still sits in place, and is at least easier to open, but a magnetic catch would have been better.

I haven't found a use for the removable pocket yet but it is a good place to put your satnav.
