I just purchased this sweet cabrio. Noticed today that I had about 15 drips on my sandle from water while driving. It did rain today.
This has never happened before.

Do you mean the water dripped on to your sandal, i.e. your foot while you were driving?

Doesn't sound normal at all. I've had my 500C for two years now and I've never had a drop enter the cabin even during heavy rain.

We have two 500C's and neither has exhibited the slightest indication of leaks under any circumstances.

Might be an idea to check your A/C evaporator drain and make sure the outlet pipe isn't blocked or loose.
