As a master of the slightly bizarre idea and OCD hang ups about design... I've got another question...
Here in the UK we get a rather rubbish interior light up on the roof by the rear view mirror... It's either on, off or on/off with the doors.
I'm rather jealous of ewe deal of the American spec car (I'd like the electric window switches as they're a much prettier look!) but I'm thinking about the map reading light set up and have done much looking online at adverts on... a certain online auction site(!) and the plug in both lights looks the same- which makes sense as it's just getting power to a unit- the switches are in that ligh module I guess. The only thing I can't tell us if they swap between cars.
Does anyone know?
I've been told on here the window switches can't as the gear surround area is strangely muchly different between the two geographical areas- which is frankly bizarre given the global market for cars!

if you have the cream/white coloured headlining you could get the double light from a mk2 punto

but if like me you have the black headlining i think your stuck with the standard one

maybe one from a US spec 500 could be fitted?

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but has anyone come across anything new on this?

I saw a video on YouTube (Fiat Punto Interior Light upgrade) upgrading the old single bulb light to the dual light fitted on Dynamic spec Puntos - has anyone done this on the 500 yet?

Would be nice to get the double light arrangement. Equally I was impressed the 500 comes with a passenger vanity light which sortof makes up for the lack of dual lights and it's even dim enough not to disturb the driver.

I’ve just bought one on eBay to try after seeing this thread. I will let you know if it works.
