Thought I would post my initial impressions on the bluespark box I have fitted to my mito 105 sportiva, I know it's a 500 forum but thought some would like to know .

Let's start with the money shot 0-60 is around ten seconds - 2nd gear start would no doubt be quicker but kill clutch.

The box itself takes seconds to fit instructions clear and standard setting pretty good I have moved it to four or of five.
How does it drive?

Lag lag, jeez boost. Through the gears is good, first gear does not seem to show much boost ( ecu limit?) but second gear sees a full display bar of boost from around 2200 rpm round to 5000 before dropping off towards red line.

In truth the box shows up all of the habits of the twin air, both good and bad. First, second third go past very quickly due to gearing but as the box is a bit rubbish you struggle to change quickly .

The real strengths are the new in gear pull to the point of showing inadequate suspension control and torque steer! Power and torque is supposed to be 120bhp / 130lbft.

That seems pretty close, although I would say torque might be touch higher although gearing exaggerates it. ( I have a 120 guiletta also) So to summarise, it makes the mito warm not hot, but it's real strength is the torque from around 2500, it pulls in fourth gear very well now.

In the 500 which is at least 150kg lighter it would make a pretty nippy car, I would guess sub nine second 0-60.

Personally I will keep it in the car for another year then I want an abarth cc.

Does anyone else have a Bluespark box fitted and if so how does it perform. Many thanks...

It's.connected to the rear of the engine ( fuel) and side on left (turbo). The mito in dynamic mode gives you a graphic for boost pressure, this now shows full where it never used to suggesting increased body pressure works.

Interesting! The tuning boxes for the TwinAir that I know, all connect to the boost pressure sensor and the MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor. Do you perhaps have a photograph showing that fuel connection?
