I need

Some upgraded spark plugs
The correct oil
Air, Oil & fuel filters

There used to be a guy who had a shop that did sets but I can't find him. Car is out of warranty and I have access to full garage facilities

It's past my bedtime but here are the basics (assuming 1.2/1.4 petrol):

Upgraded plugs - NGK DCPR7EIX (lots of ebay sellers at around £30 or less); will be good for at least 40,000 miles. Take care not to damage injectors when removing/refitting; suggest removing coil pack (2 minute job) for better access.

Oil - any reputable fully synthetic 5W40 to ACEA C3 spec (Castrol EDGE or similar)

Oil filter - strongly suggest you buy genuine Fiat (correct operation of anti drainback valve essential to protect engine on startup on cars with horizontally mounted filter). Plenty of Fiat dealers sell these on ebay for not much money.

Air filter - any reputable aftermarket brand (check ECP website). Fitting on rear of airbox fragile and easily damaged; suggest removing breathers after airbox loosened.

You might also want to change the pollen filter on cars with A/C (fiddly on RHD models)

Brake fluid is cheap and well worth changing every two years. If needed, Front Pads & Discs are less than £50 all in from ECP (for the 1.2) - suggest the Pagid ones for everyday use. Exhaust often looks tatty (esp backbox) but can last surprisingly long in this state if not actually blowing. Don't confuse sooty area around backbox drain hole (normal) with failed exhaust.

Examine sump carefully for corrosion and consider painting for added protection. Oil drain plug is tapered and there is no sump washer (TA's are different).
