my 2013 vehicle has the 1.3MJ diesel with dualogic tranny. my car is 2 years old.

i bought the OBD II cable and the yellow cable as well. MES is connecting OK with all of my modules.

my problem is that 2 of my modules have the "ISO code unsupported" errors, these modules are the airbags and my dualogic transmission.

i really dont care about the airbags too much but the tranny is a biggie with me. i change my fluids before the spec scheduled timeframes so i need to perform accumulator depressurizations, maybe do yearly cal's/etc.

i have wriiten the MES author several times, no answers.

1) anyone here know if it's OK to proceed with some actuator functions/features, but not others?

2) how long does it take for a vehicle's ISO codes to be supp'd by MES?

3) is there a better/more readily up to date program than MES for fiat?

thanks all. attached is ISO error code for DL tranny. same style code for my airbags too.

Ummm... I've been using MES for years and have never seen that screen - is that the auto-scan for ECUs capability?

Perhaps if you select 1.4 16v petrol from the model list, then choose Gearbox, and then Marelli Selespeed Automatic Transmission, you might find that ECU type is correct even though the engine type is wrong?

nice idea alex, i will try this. in meantime, i have to wait for the MES author to upgrade. he seems to have pretty good gues what my model tranny actually IS, and admits that it's not in his DB yet, yet is not asking for any further data from me to make it happen (not just for me but others). i got one email from him, that was it.

are you back from your overseas travel yet? you mentioned before that you about ready to change your DL fluids again and said you would post how-to pics. looking forward to that.

If you supplied Yani the screenshot that you posted above or the unsupported ISO code that MultiEcuScan found (BC 07 A4 8A 46), then Yani knows what gearbox is in your car.

Just be patient. For sure you aren't the only one with a feature request. However, pay attention to the fact that you probably paid for one year free updates. If Yani doesn't add your gearbox to his database within that year, then you must complain!

K-line lead? You mean that VagCom tool? That's absolutely useless if you have a Fiorino 1.3 MultiJet (like Nedro018 does).

I can't remember the difference between the two, as I just plug one in and if it doesn't work for what I want plug in the other.

All I know is that you'll normally need both leads I believe to be able to support everything MES can do with a vehicle.

So this is just the first avenue for OP to explore, if they're using the correct lead (y)

yeah, he said as much...he told me (in the only reply i got from him) that my tranny was the CFC 308 not the CFC 300 and that he hadnt databased it yet.

i tried alex's advice to pick other gas petrol engines, no help, the CFC's are only in the diesel trannies and the CFC 300 is the only one in the DB for the 1.3MJ tranny.

AGH1965 is right. the normal lead reads my engine and tranny OK (tranny errors come from ISO errors, not cables).

the yellow cable lead successfully reads all the other modules in my car, but, also has a hiccup with the air bag safety system module (unk ISO error).

like i said i dont care much about the bag system unless there's DTC errors (duh).

however there's alot more maint/calibrations executions that i would like to perform to keep ahead of on my overall transmission's life. im like alex, i do things before the fiat schedule.

can i not do ANYTHING until the MES author updates? can i not even depressurize a DLogic accumulator?

i do understand that the complex computerized "calibration/self learn" executions would be risky.

but at this point, im just trying to change my 2 fluids: the DLogic hydraulics and the gear lube.

maybe i dont even need MES for this?
