Hi all and thanks in advance


My daughter has a 09 plate 1.2 500 pop


The dash has lit up a couple of times saying power steering fault and has gone hard steer a few times


but when driving you get a strange kind of rumbling/vibrating sound if you turn the steering wheel slightly to the right it gets a bit worse but if you turn slightly to the left it stops!


Any ideas sorry for the lack of info but does anyone think it could be down to the power steering?

Not sure about the rumbling but I was advised that because it's electric power steering it could be a sign that the battery is on the way out. A new battery might sort it out.

I've just bought one for mine which is this one. This is for cars without start/stop
