I am thinking about swapping my wife's fird Streetka for a 500C, but she uses the car for work driving on muddy country lanes. Not having a rear wiper, but being e same profile as the hatch, does the rear screen quickly become obscured in wet weather? Plus, I take it when the roof is fully lowered, the only view is through the door mirrors?

The rear window does get dirty fairly quickly but not to the point of preventing vision, however I don't drive on muddy roads so I can't comment on that aspect.

With the roof fully down the interior mirror will just show the top of a following car so it's not much use. That only applies if the roof's fully down obviously, if you only open the roof to the 'spoiler' position (above the rear window) there's no issue.

The small back window also inhibits the view when reversing so it's best to learn to reverse using the exterior mirrors alone with and without the roof down. It takes a bit of practice with the convex mirrors to get a straight result:).

Definitely consider getting reversing sensors fitted.

Fairly sure the C comes with reversing sensors as standard

Mine did. I have never had a problem parking however dirty the car is but I am 5'11" and have driven cars for more years than I care to remember. It's easy to use the mirrors, especially if you really want the convertable ;) .

Thanks for your replies, really helpful, think I need to go hunting for one, accidentally left the Autotrader App open on my iPad and my wife found what I was looking at, can't calm her down now!

;)
