Hi,
What does Telstram refer to in the instrumentation? It appears briefly when the ignition is turned on. ImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1412839653.282186.jpg

do you use Telstra as you mobile/cell phone provider?

While we're on the subject; does anyone else have a problem with their phone's Bluetooth not disconnecting with Blue&Me after leaving the car?

If I stop, switch off and leave the car immediately my phone fails to notice that it's no longer in contact with Blue&Me. The connection indicator remains on and it won't handshake with any other Bluetooth device, including Blue&Me. If I manually disconnect it through the settings the indicator does go off but the phone still won't acknowledge any other device. The only way to restore normal operation is to switch it off altogether and restart.

If, on the other hand, I sit in the car for about 10 seconds after switching off the ignition (about the time the TomTom takes to shut down), and then leave, it disconnects properly and connects to other devices normally.

This doesn't happen with any other Bluetooth device - just the Blue&Me it seems. I expect the problem lies with the phone itself but I'd be curious to know if anyone else has experienced anything similar.

Nope don't have that issue. I have an iPhone 5.

No issues for me with the blue tooth as you describe...

However I have iPhone 6 now on 8.0.2 software and it says that this device may not be supported and now experience challenges with Siri and music functions at times. Do we think there may just need to be updates to the Blue & Me to solve?

Try re-pairing

Try re-pairing

I've re-paired in the past without any apparent difference. I think it must be a problem with the phone itself as I suggested. In every other respect the combination of phone and Blue&Me works brilliantly.

The phone is a Sony Xperia E - an entry-level smart phone but more than adequate for my needs - my quarterly bill rarely exceeds $5.

In any case I'll try the pairing again - thanks.
