Hi all,
Well I've fixed my central locking and boot now thanks to this forum!
But now have another issue, airbag light. Keeps coming up with airbag failure + red airbag light on the dash!
I have plugged in the latest Snap On Solus, a Bosch machine and another older Snap on machine, they can read the car fine, just can't clear the airbag light.
With the lastest Snap On Solus I can see their are no breaks in the circuit, all the components are working as they should, but it won't turn off the airbag light.
It just comes up with code U1726 and says No communication with Airbag control unit? I don't know if the Airbag ECU / control unit is faulty or not so don't just want to replace it without really knowing or is this good enough going on the log? Dealer is quoting £350.00 + for the unit alone then I guess it will need programming?
Has anyone else had this problem before or know more about it? I've looked on here for previous threads but seem to be coming up with dead ends.
Any help really appreciated as it's driving me mad, drove round to all my friends with different diagnostic machines today only to find out we couldn't turn it off, most machines read the car fine but showed no faults, despite it saying airbag failure on the dash!!
Thanks all
M
