I'll be there with mine if you wanted to have a look.

It'll be easy to spot, White with red strip, Black and silver alloys, leather Abarth seats.

It may even have a chequer board roof on by then, it depends how much time I get at the weekend.

Cheers

Chris

I had mine done at ETS, like muttleys dad, on Saturday. I can tell it's good, my 21 year old just said she doesn't like the sound !! Success. It grumbles and rumbles at 30 to 40, until you put your foot down..well worth it. I am keeping this car, it was my retirement present to me ! :)

So, having had the exhaust done, I fitted the new suspension today. Bilstein B4's. I took the decision because the fiat stuff was not as "solid" as I thought they would be, tended to wallow around corners. New Bilsteins were chosen after reading older threads on the 500 forum. Ordered from rexbo car parts, Germany, after trying to source in uk. Much better price and quick delivery. I fitted the rears last week and my local mechanic helped me today to fit the fronts.( Thanks H ! ) Am going from Abingdon to Worthing on Wednesday, primarily to have a coffee with a cousin of mine, but really to see how they do on a longish trip. Certainly locally, they feel much better.

Thanks Fiat Forum for extremely useful information. :)

You've made a good choice on the B4's. I dumped the factory fit Sachs dampers off my Saab and replaced them with Bilstein B4's and the difference was night and day. The Bilsteins are superbly made and should last a darn sight longer than the Fiat dampers. (y)
