I picked up my new 500 at the weekend - traded in my volare lounge for a new smooth mint cult, with the tobacco interior.
Just wanted to give a shout out the the folks at Warrington Fiat for their fantastic service once again..
They found me a cult locally and added on the extras that I wanted, and the whole deal was sorted within 3 weeks.. kept me informed throughout and really, really lovely people.. would highly recommend to anyone in the area (or not..!) to use these guys when looking for a new car. I even had a call within a couple of days to make sure everything was okay with the car.
Oh, and they threw in the mats for free, and got me a great deal!
 
Okay, seeing as I haven't had time to clean her yet, this is it..
She's the 1.2 Cult in smooth mint with the tobacco interior. It seems to be a bit better on acceleration than my old 1.2, I don't know if there have been any engine changes but it definitely seems better..

And.. it's now been so long since I have added photos to a thread that I can't remember how to do it.. bear with me....

The engine feels great.. I've noticed that people are complaining about an issue with a flat spot, but I have, as yet, not felt a problem - in fact, I would say that this engine seems a lot better than my old 1.2 (62 plate). It seems to have far better acceleration.

Very nice, I just noted they are doing the abarth at 0% apr and the MTA price looks cheaper than the configurator. I was ready to upgrade at our dealer but they would not offer any incentive whatsoever, quite sad really, they don't have a sale and not that they are shifting loads of cars to turn customers away.
 
FloJo you should look into it.. I wouldn't have changed mine but it's not costing much different to have the new one, plus I missed having to service the old one too.. you never know until you ask!!
