Hi there i have a 2009 fiat 500 pop, without blue & me.

I was disappointed to find that i have no way of playing music from my iphone through the cars stereo, and was having a look for a solution.
I found one wire which splits into 3; an ipod cable, an aux and a USB port, behind the hatch in the glovebox.

I have tried all of these and cant seem to get any of them to do anything!
Why are they there? Does anybody know how to make the stereo play through these?

It makes me think that there must be a way i can use them to play my music, but have never been able to!

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you owned the car from new?

I installed a Parrot MKi9100 Bluetooth system in my last car and it came with such an attachment.
Does it look like this?

I suspect a previous owner installed an aftermarket aux\USB in connector, try pressing the source button on your steering wheel a few times (if you have buttons on it) or the cd button a few times to see if it switches to it (after connecting something and setting it off playing first).
