Hey everyone, could you help me,
I have a Red Circle with exclamation mark on my dashboard, but I've checked the majority of my engine and nothing seems to be faulty.

Does anybody know what this sign means as I've lost my book :(

Thanks!:)

That would be the handbrake light. Make sure the handbrake is fully down otherwise the light will be on.

Could be low brake fluid / hand brake not properly off or hand brake switch a bit dicky.

Thanks, I don't think it's the handbrake, cause i always put it down, but the light is on constantly when i start driving... but not when i've turned my car on?

check the brake fluid level yellow cap bottle just behind the battery

If low find out why its low.. does the brake peddle feel soft or go to the floor...

pump the brakes hard several times and get a mate to look under the car and round the back of the wheels for any leaks....

if in ANY doubt do not drive the car and get your brakedown company or a local mechanic to check it out

as above it could also be the handbrake release switch

Although it was a different make, I had the hand brake sensor come loose on a Jeep and the sensor was in the engaged position even though the brake was disengaged, making the ecu think that the brake was engaged.

The sensor was under the console at the base of the brake. I assume it is similar on this make. May be something for you to check.
