There is an under engine protection cover/plate on my 2011 Fiat 500 Twinair.

A double gate post metal stop which rises a few inches above the ground in our driveway caught it, and ripped off part of it. It looks easy to replace, just being bolted on, but can anyone advise the best place to get one please? I would rather fit it myself, than have to take it to our Fiat main dealer...

You could try looking in the waste bins at the back of a franchised dealer's service department. (Some have been known to chuck them away to save the bother of refitting ).

Joking aside, I'd say your choices are either ordering it from a FIAT dealer (expensive), or looking out for someone who's breaking one.
