When i go over a bump in the road in my fiat 500 diesel they is an annoying rattling noise coming from the drivers side rear.Any sugestions on what it could be and how to fix it.
Grimwau had a broken weld iirc?
I did, but it was in the tailgate and was like it from new so therefore it was never right to go wrong, if you get my drift. Probably unlikely that a spot weld like that would ever break under normal conditions. But, if only to eliminate the possibility I found that sitting in the back and pressing hard on the top of the rear window frame whilst it was happening caused instant relief.

Found the cause of the rattle it was the seat belt tensioner banging on metal. A bit of rubber and fixed.
One thing I found with my OH's 1.2 Lounge, which had a rattle in the back, was that the folding rear seat(s) had not been pushed back firmly enough into the retaining lug, after rectifying same, no rattle. Easy one to miss.
