Have you checked the rail under the glass for loose fittings, nuts, screws etc. Does it rattle when open, closed or either ?

Thanks for the reply. It's only a few months old, I've checked for all obvious things. It only happens when closed or in tilt mode but not when fully open. It comes from the passenger side just over the sun visor and sounds like the leading edge of the glass is vibrating off something, I though it might have been the pop up deflector but its not that.

As a temporary fix what if you stick some Blu Tak or something like that at the leading edge and see if that solves the problem when closed. Could the glass have shifted back a few mm on its rail?

If I look at where the leading edge of glass meets the horizontal seal when closed it appears that the glass is approx 1 or 2mm higher on the passenger side corner then the drivers side so perhaps it's an alignment thing? I wonder how difficult it is to realign? I'll experiment though and see can I isolate it by using blutac as you suggested!

What i did is i removed seat belt cover and put my hand down on the seat belt tension-er and wobbled it around and found rattle . So i pulled plastic away and loosened bolt and put a bit of rubber in middle and tightened bolts back up. Now i have a new 2011 abarth they is no rattle .
